Community Employment (CE)
What is CE Scheme?
The CE is a DEASP Employment Programme which has been designed to assist people who are long-term unemployed and other disadvantaged people to get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements in jobs based within local communities.
During the placement, participants are encouraged to seek permanent or part-time jobs elsewhere based on the experience and new skills they have gained through the training and development opportunities they have achieved in their chosen career path while on a scheme.
