What is True Colours?

True Colours is a youth club dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering space for LGBTQIA+ young people & allies in Dublin. If you’re seeking a supportive community where you can connect with peers and have fun, come join us! We focus on providing activities and support for LGBTI+ young people.

Our Goals:

• Safe Space: We offer a safe and welcoming environment where you can express yourself freely.
• LGBTI+ Awareness & Rights: We promote awareness of LGBTI+ rights and self-acceptance, building confidence and self-esteem.
• Empowerment: Participate in skill-building workshops, leadership training, and community engagement.
• Supportive Staff: Our youth workers and volunteers are specially trained on LGBTI+ issues, mental health awareness, and trauma-informed care to meet your unique needs.

What We Offer:

1. True Colours Club:
   A weekly get-together for fun, connection, and support. Expect social events, games, creative activities, and discussions on topics like mental health, self-care, and identity. This will include outings that you will help us plan and prepare for, including Dublin Pride. 
2. Skill-Building Workshops:
   Build confidence and new skills! Depending on what you need, from resilience to leadership, these workshops empower you to reach your full potential.
3. Community Outreach & Awareness:
   Join us in spreading awareness about LGBTI+ issues in local schools and the wider community. True Colours also advocates for safe spaces and acceptance for LGBTI+ youth.
4. Staff and Volunteer Training:
   Our team is trained in LGBTI+ inclusion, mental health, and trauma-informed care, ensuring that we’re prepared to support you effectively.
