YMCA Dublin is one of the oldest registered charities in the world, this week we celebrate 173 years working with communities in inner city Dublin.

We were founded in 1849, and exist to realise our vision for everyone to have the opportunity to belong to healthy, confident, secure, and connected communities. We do this through youth work, mentoring, community work, community childcare, and community employment.

Annual Report

Today, YMCA Dublin launch their 2021 Annual Report in which we highlight our plans for expansion following the success of our youth programmes in 2021.

Kathryn O’Mahony, CEO, says:

Set out in our 5 year strategic plan, one of our core priorities is to strengthen our impact across the community. We will do this by creating new community spaces and developing our programmes so they address the ever-changing needs of our communities. Throughout the pandemic, we have seen just how important youth engagement is for young people as they navigate their way in society. We will continue to grow and expand our programmes so that young people across our communities have access to a safe and supportive environment.
